A couple of large central tables can be booked ahead, making them a good choice for team catch-ups. Comfy smaller tables are great for solo dining or meetings of 2-4 people.
The menu leans savoury with plenty of options for vegetarians. Slab bacon or kransky sausage can be added as side to make those vego breakfasts a bit meatier.
Matcha pancakes ($16) served with strawberry, roasted rhubarb, vanilla bean gelato, honey and chamomile syrup is a popular choice for those with a sweet tooth. Avocado toast ($17) with hummus, fresh cheese, preserved lime, herbs, poached egg will leave all other smashed avocado dishes for dead. The suggested addition of a slab of bacon is well worth it.
Coffee is by Dukes with both a single origin and a blend available. Customers can choose from traditional milk coffees, pour over, cold brew, French press and batch brew. Non-coffee drinkers are well looked after with a selection of specialty teas, juices and Kommunity Brew kombucha on offer.
